Upskilling

01

This is not tick-box ESG training. We map green skills to role, department and the capabilities needed for a future-proofed business.

Embedded

02

Every time we upskill an employee, we upskill a young person to grow the next generation of changemakers.

Our Founder’s Story

Katie is the Founder of Sustained Futures, a female-led company closing the global green skills gap through inclusive upskilling. She believes sustainability is not a cost but a business imperative, and her mission is to upskill people and organisations turning climate risk into resilience and long-term opportunity.

Whilst working in Formula 1, she experienced a typhoon at the Japanese Grand Prix revealing the real impact of extreme weather on operations, finance, and people. She went on to establish McLaren's first sustainability function, partnering with global brands including Google, Dell, Deloitte, Unilever and Goldman Sachs, before joining Capgemini Invent to deliver supply chain risk assessments, decarbonisation strategies and ESG investor reports across industries.

But across every industry she saw one gap: green skills.

In 2023 she launched Sustained Futures to close the green skill gap. Under her leadership the team has upskilled more than 4,000 people worldwide with partners including the United Nations, Arsenal FC, Sail GP USA, Dyson and Adobe. She was awarded Santander x LSE scholarship for inspiring female leaders and named 2024 Barclays Outstanding Entrepreneur.
